NEW YORK (CNNfn) - Why not plan a summer picnic for your staff? You don't have to spend a lot, but anything you do buy for a company party is fully tax-deductible.

Most people don't mind bringing a favorite dish for a potluck.

graphicIf people work in shifts, be sure to plan parties for different departments. An all-company picnic is a great way to thank your employees for all their hard work.

Be sure to invite your favorite visitors like the folks from Fedex, Airborne, UPS and your friendly postal person.
