As gasoline prices continue to rise the government is getting involved

WASHINGTON (CNNfn) - Despite official predictions that drivers would pay less at the pump this summer than they did in the spring, gasoline prices are still climbing.

And consumers want to know why. The Clinton administration called energy industry executives to Washington for closed-door talks, but with no resolution.
