Kodak warning sends blue chip indicator tumbling; Nasdaq unable to hold gains

NEW YORK (CNNfn) - Eastman Kodak's sharp decline after a third-quarter earnings warning sent the Dow Jones industrial average more than 1 percent lower in Tuesday morning trading.

The Nasdaq composite index was slightly lower, unable to hold gains despite news favorable to key components Microsoft and Intel.

At 11:11 a.m. ET, the Dow lost 132.62 to 10,675.53, with Kodak skidding $13 to $46. The Nasdaq dropped 17.31 to 3,723.91, while the S&P 500 dropped 5.75 to 1,433.28. Back to top
