Car seat toy bars recalled

Maya announces a recall of toy bar attachments for car seats, strollers

NEW YORK (CNNfn) - The Maya Group Inc. of Garden Grove, Calif., announced a recall of about 20,000 toy bars for repair Tuesday.

The toy maker said toy bars attached to car seats and strollers has removable parts, and one of the toys can fall apart into small plastic pieces, creating choking hazard to young children.

graphicMaya has so far received six reports of toy bar breakages, but fortunately there have been no reports of injuries.

The recalled items are the Tiny Love -- Super Car-Bar, which has three toys attachments to the toy bar. The products are made in China, and consumers can find a "TINYLOVE" label attached to the side of the toy car.

Consumers should immediately remove the toy bar from the car seats and call Maya at (888) 521-2202 for a free replacement. Back to top
