NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - With Microsoft launching its Xbox gaming console to consumers Thursday, entering a busy market, some may wonder which video game product to purchase.

Darren Richardson, COO of Mad Catz, which manufactures peripherals and accessories for gaming platforms, appeared on CNNfn's The Leading Edge to weigh the benefits of purchasing one game console over another, examining Xbox and GameCube, among others.
