NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - As Major League Baseball contemplates eliminating two teams, its commissioner testified before a Congressional panel asking that the league retain its antitrust exemption.
The exemption shields Major League Baseball from lawsuits by cities or states seeking to retain or attract baseball teams. But Congress has been asked to lift the exemption.
