Roomy interior and snappy styling move Focus to the front.

NEW YORK (Money Magazine) - The Ford Focus breaks the small-car rules. No bland styling or tight interiors. Focus designers combined edgy, eye-catching design with a roomy interior and honest seating space for four in many models. Focus hatchbacks, sedans and wagons offer both maneuverability and a ride that's reasonably comfortable for a small car
Focus does give you one thing that you expect from small cars: high gas mileage. The EPA rates the 2.0-liter, 110-horsepower four-cylinder engine at 26 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway when coupled with an automatic transmission; manual-transmission ratings are 28 mpg and 36 mpg.
The ZX3 two-door hatchback with options lists for $15,435, but a good negotiator can get one for around $15,019. The MSRP for the LX sedan is $14,420, but the target price is just $14,034, or about $500 over the dealer's invoice cost and about $800 less than a comparable Honda Civic LX sedan.
