NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - If there is anything investors learned from the Enron scandal, it's that financial statements don't tell the whole story.
But before you decide to toss them away, here are some tips on what you should take note of when reading an annual report. According to specialists, a good place to start is the not with the bottom line, or earnings, but the top line, or revenues.
