NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Carrie Bradshaw's fashion sense may not make sense to everyone, but for those who appreciate the style of the main character in "Sex and the City," here's a chance to get your hands on some of her threads before the show comes to an end.

HBO will hold a charity auction for select items that have appeared on the popular series that features a group of female friends and their various relationships in New York City.

Some of the 20-plus items hitting the auction block:

  • Carrie's Vivienne Westwood blue plaid dress, Guiseppe Zanotti yellow suede shoes and a Dries Van Noten floral silk dress.
  • Matthew Williamson's palm print dress, worn by Samantha Jones.
  • Charlotte York's Badgley Mishka wedding dress, complete with wine stain.
  • Miranda Hobbes' "Buddha" skirt and a dried wedding bouquet of fall flowers.
  • For the men, there's a Mr. Big suit, silk pajamas and designer ties, a Smith Jerrod t-shirt, windbreaker and sunglasses.
  • Signed scripts and posters.

The auction will be held on HBO's Web site and will begin at 3 p.m. ET on Feb. 13 and run through Feb. 23, with all items remaining up for auction throughout the event.

"Sex and the City" will end its six-year run on HBO with its last episode on Feb. 22.

Proceeds from the auction will go to the New York Public Library, domestic violence assistance program My Sister's Place, Planned Parenthood Federation of America and the theater collective Drama Dept.

The charities were selected by the female stars of "Sex and the City," including Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon.

Time Warner (TWX: Research, Estimates) is the parent company of HBO and CNN/Money.  Top of page
