This is San Francisco-based Wild Planet's first partnership with a retailer. The privately held toymaker recently drew attention in February when it said it would sell its interactive Aquapets exclusively at Toys R Us Inc. (TOY: Research, Estimates) stores until September before the toy is available at other retailers.

The move was cited as a way toymakers are working to support traditional toy stores, which have been losing market share to large discounters like Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT: Research, Estimates)  Top of page
