Al Sharpton is set to be one of the hosts of a new reality show debuting this fall on cable network Spike TV.
The show, entitled "I Hate My Job," is described in a press release from the network as a "career makeover show."
Sharpton and California psychologist Stephanie Raye will give advice to contestants on how to pursue a better job, giving them weekly assignments and sitting on a panel to decide which of the contestants is worthy of continuing on his new career path.
Sharpton is a New York political activist who was a Democratic candidate for president this year. He has also served as an ordained minister and road manager to singer James Brown.
Spike TV's statement said the show is slated for an eight episode run this fall. The network is a unit of media conglomerate Viacom (VIA.B: Research, Estimates). It advertises itself as the first network for men.
