The Vote for Change tour is being organized by two independent political groups -- America Coming Together (ACT) and MoveOn -- which are committed to defeating President Bush. The tour plans to have 33 concerts in 30 cities during an eight-day period, featuring six different combinations of artists.

USA Today reports that final ticket prices have yet to be determined, but that it is estimated that the tour will sell out all the concerts, and that it will bring in the $44 million in gross revenue. Venue rental will cost between $75,000 to $500,000.

The concerts will be held in what are considered swing states, such as Florida, Ohio, Michigan and Missouri.  Top of page
