NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Leading indicators, a closely watched index of economic growth, fell Thursday for the third straight month.
The Conference Board reported the index declined by 0.3 percent in August to 115.7. Analysts had expected a decline of 0.2 percent, according to Briefing.com.
July's index also fell by 0.3 percent and June's fell by 0.1 percent
