NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Anything can happen in an election year, including Bush and Kerry momentarily setting aside their differences on the cusp of the election.

Bush, Kerry exclusive Cabbage Patch dolls will debut on eBay Wednesday afternoon.

The two political rivals are coming together, "doll to doll," for a good cause. In fact, both men wear an animated smile and appeared relaxed as they get ready to do some campaigning for the American National Red Cross on eBay (Research).

Deerfield Beach, Fl.-based Play Along Toys, a division of toy manufacturer Jakks Pacific (Research) and maker of the wildly popular Cabbage Patch Kids, on Wednesday will debut one-of-a-kind hand-crafted Cabbage Patch Kids in the likeness of George W. Bush and Senator John Kerry.

The auction is expected to get underway Wednesday afternoon and will end at midnight on Nov. 1.

Play Along said all proceeds from the auction will benefit the Red Cross. The company will also match the winning bids up to $10,000.

"Just like each of the millions of Cabbage Patch kids that live with kids around the world, these two Kids are completely unique," Jay Foreman, president of Play Along, said in a statement. "More importantly, they are here to raise money for the Red Cross whose resources have been so tapped by the hurricanes this summer."

The doll of President Bush is dressed in a dark wool suit, red tie with matching handkerchief as well as a Bush button and United States of America flag pin.

Senator Kerry's model is also wearing a dark wool suit, but he has on a blue tie and matching handkerchief to go along with his Kerry button and the American flag pin.

Cabbage Patch Kids were recently recognized as one of the hot dozen toys for the upcoming 2004 holiday shopping season. Play Along relaunched the yarn-haired, dimpled-cheeked dolls this year with the promise that the plush toy is exactly the same as the earlier mass-produced versions, which became a national phenomenon in the 1980s.
