NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Neiman Marcus on Tuesday unveiled its 2005 Christmas catalog of "fantasy gifts," and once again, there's plenty there to make your jaw drop in astonishment.

The 79th version of the famed Christmas Book from the luxury retailer promises to have "something for everyone," Brendan Hoffman, president and CEO of Neiman Marcus Direct, said in a statement.

That might be a little bit of a stretch given the five-to-six-figure pricetags featured, but the catalog does offer some truly unique ideas.

For instance, this year someone will have the chance to buy an hour-and-a-half private performance by Sir Elton John for up to 500 guests for a cool $1.5 million.

According to Neiman Marcus, the money will be donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) which supports HIV/AIDS education programs and provides assistance to people living with HIV/AIDS.

Not good enough?

Then how about a $3.5 million Skycar that promises ownership of a piece of transportation history when you buy the M400 Skycar prototype.

The catalog calls the M400 Skycar the world's first "personal vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft." The Skycar is a three-wheeled, folding-wing craft than can travel 350 miles per hour and boasts an "environmentally-friendly 21 miles per gallon on alcohol."

Other luxury gifts include the Neiman Marcus special-edition 2007 Lexus GS 450h luxury hybrid performance sedan priced at $65,000.

The car, which is EPA-rated as a "Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle," features a 3.5-liter V6 engine, permanent magnet electric motor and 300-plus horsepower. Only 75 Neiman Marcus Special Editions will be produced and delivered in 2006.

For art connoisseurs, the catalog offers a designer tree house for $50,000 by artist Roderick Wolgamott Romero. Romero's celebrity clientele include designer Donna Karan and Sting.  Top of page
