NEW YORK (CNN/Money) -
Thousands of bags of stuffing are being recalled along the east coast after ingredient labels were found to omit wheat and dairy, items that could cause allergic reactions in some people.
The product, Martin's Potatobred Soft Cubed Stuffing, is made by Pennsylvania-based Martin's Famous Pastry Shoppe.
Company spokesman Dennis Wenrick said 129,000 bags were distributed in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida.
He said customers can bring back bags with the misprinted labels for an exchange or refund.
"There's nothing wrong with the product unless they are allergic to wheat or dairy," said Wenrick.
He said the mislabeling was due to a mistake made at the printers.
Bags being recalled have sell-by dates between Feb. 8 and March 15, 2006.
