NYSE to open on time
No delays are expected due to record snowfall blanketing New York.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) - The New York Stock Exchange will open on time Monday despite a record snowfall in New York

NYSE spokesman Rich Adamonis said no delays were expected due to the storm, and that the exchange would open as scheduled at 9:30 a.m. ET.

A Northeastern snowstorm dumped a record 26.9 inches of snow on New York City Sunday, tying up the city and shutting down airports.

The last time the exchange's opening was delayed due to a snowstorm was in January 1996, according to the NYSE's Web site.The last time the trading floor was closed all day due to heavy snow was in February 1969.
