What do you do? I'm responsible for the deal - and making sure it is as good as it possibly can be.

Major in college? I went to Harvard Law School and Amherst, where I majored in literature. It's had a huge impact on my career because I have a real love for the arts.

What did you want to be when you grew up? Center fielder for the Red Sox.

How many hours a day are you on the phone? All day, 9 A.M. to 7 P.M., except for lunch.

Best technique for landing a new client? Do the job extraordinarily well for an old one.

Worst technique? Calling an agent you don't know.

Work uniform? I wear a suit. Sometimes I wear a tie, most days I don't.

Favorite designers? Armani and Prada.

What would you never be caught dead wearing? Polyester.

Favorite lunch spot? Barney Greengrass.

Favorite gadgets? TiVo and my BlackBerry.

Car? Mercedes S500.

The one thing I wish I'd known when I started? It's a marathon, not a sprint.
