Mild rebound for stocksMajor gauges tick higher after Thursday's sell-off, as investors eye oil, dollar, Disney, AIG earnings.NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Stocks bounced back Friday as investors mulled falling oil prices, a weaker dollar and strong earnings from the likes of Disney and AIG after the close of trade Thursday. The Dow and Nasdaq all posted small gains in the first moments of trade. Stocks fell Thursday as investors took profits after the market's recent record-setting rally. The price of oil fell back below $61 after spiking more than a dollar on Thursday. |
