(down $0.22 to $20.09, Charts) The No. 1 cell phone maker cut its profit margin for two years based on slower global market growth. New York Times Company (down $0.69 to $23.21, Charts). Citigroup downgraded the media company to "sell" from "hold." Palm Inc (down $1.18 to $14.19, Charts). On Monday, the handheld computer maker said a delay in shipping its new Treo 750 smartphone forced it to cut fiscal second-quarter profit and revenue forecasts. Servicemaster Co (up $1.25 to $13.15, Charts). The lawn care and pest control company said it was considering putting itself up for sale and had hired Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs as financial advisers. |
