Wednesday's late movers

Oracle, Barnes & Noble and Yahoo among Wednesday's most actively traded shares.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Here are some of the companies whose shares were active in late trading on Friday:

Share of the business software giant Oracle (down $0.99 to $17.87, Charts) tumbled Wednesday after investment bank Lehman Brothers advised clients to sell the stock, noting that its quarterly sales may miss forecasts.

Canadian drugmaker Biovail Corp. (up $2.00 to $20.90, Charts) announced Wednesday it plans to triple its dividend and will focus its strategy on paying off debt and drug development.

Barnes & Noble (up $1.79 to $41.78, Charts) shares jumped Wednesday after Credit Suisse upgraded the stock to 'outperform' from an 'underperform' rating.

Yahoo (down $0.61 to $26.82, Charts) said Wednesday that Chief Operating Officer Daniel Rosensweig and Media Group chief Lloyd Braun will leave the company while Chief Financial Officer Susan Decker will take on more responsibilities at the company.

Novell (down $0.32 to $6.01, Charts) said late Tuesday that it swung to a fourth-quarter profit from a loss a year ago, but also issued fiscal 2007 revenue guidance in a range that is below analysts' estimates. The fourth-quarter results were preliminary due to the company's ongoing review of its stock options practices.
