Of the seven firms that appeared on the most Fortune, Business 2.0 and FSB lists this year, five of the seven are players in the digital world - Apple (Charts), Cisco (Charts), Intel (Charts), Microsoft (Charts), and Motorola (Charts). The remaining two, Eli Lily (Charts) and Amgen (Charts), are drugmakers. Each appeared on six CNNMoney rankings this year, putting them at the top of the annual Blue-Ribbon Companies list. To qualify as a Blue-Ribbon Company, a firm had to appear on at least four CNNMoney lists in a calendar year. This year, 109 companies made the cut. The lists include, from Fortune: America's Most Admired Companies, 100 Best Companies to Work For, and the Fortune 500, among others; from Business 2.0: B2 100: Fastest-Growing Tech Companies; and from Fortune Small Business: FSB 100: Fastest-Growing Small Public Companies.
