Techs higher at open

Nasdaq pushes ahead in initial trading; broader market flat.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Tech stocks gained some ground in the early U.S. going Tuesday, while the broader market straddled the breakeven point

The Nasdaq composite index rose 0.2 percent. The Dow Jones industrial average was up less than 2 points. The Standard & Poor's 500 index was up less than a point.
