Techs take a hit at openNasdaq leads decline after Dell's results and outlook; blue chip stocks in modest fall.NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- U.S. stocks retreated at the start of trading, with Dell's results and outlook as well as concern about global markets haunting investors. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 0.2 percent. The Nasdaq composite index was 0.4 percent lower. The Standard & Poor's 500 index was off by 0.2 percent.
