Alcoa Inc (down $0.48 to $33.59, Charts) was downgraded Wednesday to "neutral" from "overweight" by Prudential, according to Briefing.com.

Apple (up $0.36 to $91.84, Charts) said Wednesday it had started to ship its new Apple TV box, a device that lets viewers play computer-stored music and video on a TV.

Adobe Systems (up $1.68 to $42.42, Charts) reported better than expected earnings after the close Tuesday, lifting its shares 3.7 percent in after-hours trading.

The Clorox Company (up $0.85 to $63.74, Charts) was upgraded Wednesday to "overweight" from "neutral" by JP Morgan, according to Briefing.com.

JetBlue Airways (Charts) lowered its earnings outlook for 2007 on Wednesday after suffering a major service disruption in 2007.

Morgan Stanley's (up $2.23 to $78.34, Charts) earnings leap 60 percent, setting a new record and beating analyst's estimates.

Oracle Corporation (up $0.65 to $18.20, Charts) reported better than expected earnings and revenue outlook after the close Tuesday.
