Wednesday's moversAvis Budget, Jackson Hewitt, United Airlines among the day's most actively traded shares.NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Here are some of Wednesday's most actively traded stocks: Avis Budget Group (down $0.39 to $27.98, Charts) was downgraded to "equal-weight" from "overweight" by analysts at Morgan Stanley. CKE Restaurants (up $0.38 to $19.38, Charts), the owner of Carl's Jr. restaurant chains, announced a share repurchase worth about $77 million. Daimlerchrysler's (down $1.21 to $81.74, Charts) CEO Dieter Zetsche confirmed Wednesday that the company is talking with potential buyers whom he said have a "clear interest" in buying its money-losing Chrysler unit. Jackson Hewitt (up $1.69 to $28.22, Charts) was upgraded to "equal weight" from "underweight" by analysts at Morgan Stanley. Oxford Industries (down $4.69 to $45.55, Charts) said third-quarter earnings fell 33 percent to $9.74 million. PF Changs (down $2.18 to $42.19, Charts) said same-store sales fell 3 percent in March. Pozen (up $0.58 to $14.80, Charts), co-developer of the Trexima migraine headache treatment, benefited from news that the drug had performed well in large studies. United Airlines (up $0.38 to $40.55, Charts) reported that March traffic rose 1.6 percent from the same period last year. |
