Citigroup (down $0.50 to $51.90, Charts) announced 17,000 layoffs as part of a restructuring effort aimed at raising the stock price. Celgene's (down $0.91 to $57.13, Charts) trial of its cancer drug Revlimid was temporarily suspended as of April 4, according to the group running the late-stage trial. Salesforce.com (Charts) was downgraded by Cowen & Co. to "neutral" from "outperform," according to Briefing.com. Kroger Co. (Charts) was downgraded by HSBC Securities to "neutral" from "overweight," according to Briefing.com.
