Infant bouncer seats recalled

Tubular metal frames could break, possibly causing infants to fall out of the seats.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Infant bouncer seats manufactured by Oeuf LLC have been recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission because infants could fall out of the seats as a consequence of hazardous metal frames.

About 1,400 seats are being recalled. The infant bouncer seats have a padded canvas supported by a tubular steel frame, which could break. The model number printed on the label is 2005.

The agency said Oeuf has received six reports of frames breaking. So far, no injuries have been reported.

Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately and contact Oeuf to receive a repair kit.

Oeuf can be contacted at (800) 691-8810 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or customers can visit the firm's Web site at www.oeufnyc.com.  Top of page
