Yahoo!, Reuters, Jones Soda among Friday's most actively traded.


NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- The following are some of Friday's most actively traded stocks:

Beazer Homes (down $0.95 to $33.45, Charts, Fortune 500) says the Securities and Exchange Commission has launched an informal investigation to determine whether the homebuilder violated federal securities laws.

Clear Channel Communications (up $0.45 to $36.40, Charts, Fortune 500) rejected a $19.6 billion private equity bid after institutional shareholders argued it undervalued the company.

Eastman Kodak (down $1.58 to $24.39, Charts, Fortune 500) reported its ninth loss in the last 10 quarters on charges related to cost-cutting measures.

Jones Soda (down $3.21 to $22.00, Charts) reported quarterly earnings of less than one cent per share. Analysts were expecting earnings of three cents per share.

RealNetworks (up $0.43 to $8.69, Charts) said earnings rose 60 percent to $40 million in the first quarter.

Reuters Group (up $15.10 to $74.02, Charts) said it received a preliminary takeover bid from an unnamed suitor.

Sunoco (up $1.31 to $77.78, Charts, Fortune 500) said first-quarter earnings more than doubled as the company had a $90 million after-tax gain from the prior issuance of limited partnership interests.

Yahoo! (up $5.37 to $33.55, Charts, Fortune 500) and Microsoft rekindled talks on a merger, which could be worth $50 billion, according to newspaper reports.  Top of page
