Stocks weak at open

U.S. markets flat to lower after weak July jobs report.


NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- U.S. stocks pushed into negative territory at Friday's open after an employment report that was weaker than expected.

The Dow Jones industrial average lost 0.1 percent. The Nasdaq composite index dipped 0.2 percent. The Standard & Poor's 500 index was down 0.1 percent.
