Nasdaq blossoms on AppleTech stocks surge at the open after iPhone maker's earnings; broader market up slightly.NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- U.S. stocks rallied at Tuesday's open, with tech stocks leading the way after Apple reported knockout quarterly results. The Dow Jones industrial average gained 0.4 percent. The tech-heavy Nasdaq composite index surged 0.9 percent. The Standard & Poor's 500 index was up 0.4 percent.
