There's a new streaming TV service in town.

Sling TV on Monday launched a service that allows subscribers to watch cable channels live and on-demand on their smartphones, tablets and even television sets.

It's a service aimed at people who want to watch basic cable channels on multiple devices without having to go through a cable company.

For $20 a month, subscribers get a package of fourteen channels, including ESPN, ESPN2, TNT, TBS, Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel, Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, ABC Family, Disney Channel, CNN, El Rey and Galavision.
