There are two ways to look at which car is "most stolen."
One way is to compare the number stolen to the number on the road for a specific car model. Looking at it this way, the Cadillac Escalade EXT is the "most likely to be stolen" vehicle according to the Highway Loss Data Institute.
An Escalade EXT is 10.5 times as likely to be stolen as the average car, according to the HLDI.
A more straightforward way to look at it is simply to ask "Which car gets stolen most often." That's how the National Insurance Crime Bureau looks at it and, according to their most recent analysis, it's the 1991 Honda Accord.
