People buy minivans for functionality, not style.

Chrysler's minivans are currently the best-selling which is why the company is redesigning them instead of getting out of that market, as competitors Ford and General Motors are doing.

Just as it has in the past, Chrysler is fighting the minivan war by piling on functionality instead of trying to make their vans look hip.

"Any excessive styling just screws up the utility," said David Zatz, editor of Allpar.com, a Website focusing on Chrysler Group products.
