Volvo ReCharge concept
Like the Opel Flextremen the ReCharge is a plug-in hybrid. One key difference is that the ReCharge's four electric motors are housed in the car's wheels.

The ReCharge's 1.6-liter gasoline engine is is used only to recharge the batteries. The batteries can also be charged by plugging into an electrical outlet and, on a full charge, the car can travel 62 miles without using any gasoline. It can go 93 miles on less than a gallon.
