 The xD's back seats feel roomy for such a tiny car. The seats fold down flat, which is nice, but overall cargo space is less than competitors'.
Back seat story To make sure passengers don't feel trapped, the xD's back seats are mounted up high so occupants can see out front. They feel surprisingly roomy for such a little car. The seats can be slid forward a few inches to allow more cargo space behind them. They also recline slightly. When folded down, the back seats leave a nice, flat loading area. Lift the cargo area floor and there's space underneath to hide a few things or just to put things you don't want rolling around. Even with the seats folded down, though, the xD's maximum cargo space is much less than that of its major competitors.
