After a long run as the number one hybrid in America, the Toyota Prius seems ready for a fall, according to Kelley Blue Book. Recent polls conducted at KBB.com, the car guide's Website, rank the the Prius last out of 10 new hybrids people said they were considering buying.

If that really translates into a slackening demand of new Priuses, then it should mean less demand for used ones, too. That's why the the Civic Hybrid is predicted to hold its value better over the long haul. It was the number one pick in KBB.com's new hybrid poll.
