They probably won't really be electric, though. It's unlikely that Chrysler will bother to give the concepts the high-tech electric drive systems described in text that was presented with these sketches. As is often the case with concept vehicles, Chrysler is telling us what they would ultimately like to do.
Both Ford and General Motors have already created vehicles with motors similar to the systems Chrysler describes, though, so these things are clearly possible, although much too expensive for production cars.
Chrysler's emphasis is on the design and packaging of the technology, showing how these technologies can be used to create vehicles that appeal to different market segments.
