Nissan Murano Nissan's first redesign of the Murano gives the sporty-looking crossover SUV a wider and more curvaceous appearance. A new interior plays off of what Nissan describes as a "mobile suite" concept. It features a new foldaway cargo organizer that emerges with the push of a button from a hidden space below the rear cargo floor. Changes are more than cosmetic, though, as the 2009 Murano is a built on a new engineering platform shared with the new Altima sedan. The Murano is available in either front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive. It's powered by a 3.5-liter, V6 engine with a continuously variable transmission.
