A concept vehicle to be shown in Detroit suggests what a more compact version might look like with a few new twists.

The three designers worked together, creating sketches and clay models in the same studio.

"We drew inspiration from one another," said Kang. "As you're designing and sketching you try to absorb what the other is doing and you try to make it better."

Elements of all three designs will ultimately be seen in the final concept unveiled in Detroit in January.
