Clever storage The Liberty has decent storage with back seats that fold flat. The Liberty doesn't have the Nitro's "Load 'n' Go" sliding platform that rides out over the back bumper to make loading large objects easier. (Parent company Chrysler LLC loves clever names for optional feature.) The Liberty gets something even more useful. It is called, uncharacteristically, a "Reversible Cargo Tray." Take it out and there's a big bin underneath where you can hide some fairly large items. On one side, the tray has smooth carpet. In the other is a plastic bin that gives you a place to toss muddy boots, Frisbees, your bag of groceries, or anything you don't want sliding around or dirtying up your Jeep's cargo area.
