Founded 34 years ago by Frank Farnsworth, Idaho Opal and Gem, based in Pocatello, Idaho, specializes in emeralds, opals, rubies and sapphires - and the new technology that makes them appear bigger and brighter. Farnsworth, 55, bases his new designs on what does well in the more fashionable diamond industry. His new Blush necklace, featuring a circular, white-gold pendant, showcases Madagascar pink sapphires that cascade in size, ranging from 1 millimeter in diameter to 3 millimeters.
