Fashion student Susan Ripley Ayers, 26, and former Ralph Lauren buyer Camilla Love McGraw, 29, launched Ley Love last year after meeting in Charlottesville, Va., where their husbands attended business school. The company's earrings and necklaces are 14-karat gold-filled chains strung with ruby, topaz and other brightly colored semiprecious stones. Celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan and Tori Spelling have purchased Ley Love's handmade jewelry, which is sold at small stores across the U.S.
