Portable Sound Laboratories' iMainGo, $50 iMainGo's battery-powered portable speaker case has received positive reviews from the magazine MacWorld and rapper Mos Def. Tim Jacobus, 47, and Jorge Ragde, 44, both private wealth managers, invested in the Chatsworth, Calif. start-up when they were impressed with the full-bodied sound from the nine-ounce speakers. The year-old company, which is selling its gear in Virgin Megastores, will introduce an upgraded version of the system with 25% more audio output and titanium speakers in January.
