Why we chose it: Babson students can brush up on family dynamics by taking courses at the institute, which has a blog for sharing thoughts on sensitive topics such as how to deal with in-laws and choosing the proper compensation for your children. Rather than focusing simply on transferring a business to the next generation, Babson challenges families to create an ongoing legacy of entrepreneurial growth through "transgenerational entrepreneurship." The program combines experiential learning, outreach programs, and scholarly research to empower family businesses.
