Concept: Killing roaches isn't a glamorous business, but good methods of defeating the critters are always in demand. MBA Jay H. Mullis teamed up with fellow grad students to develop a variation on a roach-bait formula his grandfather invented at the family pest-control business. The company is billing the resulting Green Dragon Roach Bait (greendragonroachkill.com) as environmentally-friendly and safe for children and pets. Green Dragon plans to sell the morsels in biodegradable packaging to both pest-control companies and individuals.
