Packaging after The new packaging incorporates the new logo and a whole lot more. The Tesser design team eliminated the teal color and slanted the text to suggest dynamism. The sun icon in the letter 'B' suggests Southern California sunshine. The new tag line, "California Subs," evokes Submarina's emphasis on local ingredients such as sprouts and avocado. Tesser also lost the bland white bag, substituting an earthy tan envelope emblazoned with catchphrases such as "Avocado heaven" and "Fresh local ingredients."
