Interior design after A glass wave wall in the renovated stores now separates the ordering queue from the eating area. Red tones, inspired by woody surf wagons bound for the beach, replaced the blues under the counters. Seating is a mix of booths and circular tables, finished in the same red palette, with wicker chairs. This arrangement attracts families and large groups who will spend more money dining in-house. Large photos of Submarina's breads, cheeses and produce hang in each renovated store, suggesting gastronomic bounty. The light and dark tan tiles on the floor are easy to clean and make the whole establishment look brighter.
