At more than $73,000 a year, Wasatch County business-equipment dealers earn on average 22 percent more than their counterparts across the state, making that the best-paying sector in the economy. But the county also boasts a strong base for markets traders. Computer-systems design is set to be the top growth sector in the coming years - employment in this sector has soared more than 300 percent so far this decade. Locals believe Wasatch's biggest future gains will be coming from big-box retailers.
