Collier County's 20 percent population growth since 2000 can be attributed to a number of factors, but none so much as construction, which serves as the bedrock of the region's economy. In addition, the service industry is thriving on the back of a bustling tourism business, which continues to welcome beachcombers flocking to the natural beauty of Paradise Coast.
